For founder Anthony Cerasa, that understanding began at an early age. Growing up in the family construction business, Anthony learned the industry from the ground up—gaining hands-on experience in excavation, foundations, framing, finishing, and eventually site management. Working through every stage of construction gave him an understanding not only of how things are built, but how thoughtful decisions early in the process can shape the quality of the finished home.
 

That hands-on experience naturally developed into a passion for architecture and design. Anthony pursued architectural CAD, where his technical ability and attention to detail led him to compete at the highest levels of Skills Canada, earning multiple wins in architectural CAD competitions.
 

As his experience grew, so did Anthony’s vision for what he wanted to create. Building on the foundation he gained in the family business, he eventually ventured out on his own, bringing together his knowledge of construction with his passion for architecture and design. What began as his own path in the industry would evolve over the years into Cerasa Design Build—a company he and his wife, Mary, have built together around a shared commitment to thoughtful design, exceptional craftsmanship, and doing things the right way.
 

Today, Anthony and Mary work side by side throughout the design-build journey. Together, they have built the company around the values that have always been at the heart of their family—integrity, hard work, attention to detail, and genuine pride in what they create.
 

That experience shapes the way we approach every project. We understand the relationship between what is envisioned on paper and what it takes to execute it in the field. From the way a home sits on its property and how its spaces flow, to the materials, craftsmanship, and smallest finishing details, every decision is considered as part of the whole.
 

To us, luxury isn’t defined by excess. It’s found in thoughtful design, lasting quality, and details that feel intentional. Most importantly, a home should be personal—a reflection of the people who will live there.
